A heavy workpiece, which involves some risks if shock is applied at its landing, needs to be placed "gently" & "with care".
There are such challenges to be solved in conventional ways:
[Case A: Human-powered work]
A worker is forced to stay in a half-crouching position, putting a big burden on the worker.
[Case B: Hoist]
As it requires button-pressing operation, there is a risk to give shock to objects by misoperation.
In addition, while it is capable of accurate positioning by "inching" operation, there is a risk of tendonitis during long hours operation.
[Case C: Balancer]
While it allows to handle a workpiece with senses of human hands, it gives shock to a workpiece if putting the workpiece down in a vigorous manner.
By these control functions, Moon Lifter can move an important workpiece "quickly", and place it "gently".
"Half Assist OFF" function works perfectly when you want to position an unbalanced workpiece.
At the moment of landing, the built-in sensor detects a change of load.
Moon Lifter turns off its assist function only half the weight of a workpiece.
It allows a workpiece to be landed while positioning with care.
See the video below introducing an actual Moon Lifter user, who conveys large window panes by using this control function allowing landing "gently" and "with care".
